State-Of-The-Art Simulation

The Parry Center for Skills & Simulation at the Sanford School of Medicine Sioux Falls campus, provides students with innovative, simulation-based education, research and performance assessment. The environment allows collaboration among students and safely simulates real-patient experiences.

Focus on Rural Medicine

We have long been recognized for excellence in rural medical education. Our Frontier And Rural Medicine (FARM) program is a unique opportunity for select Pillar 2 students to receive nine months of clinical training in rural communities with the goal to increase the number of primary care physicians who practice in rural South Dakota areas.
