Welcome to The University of South Dakota!
To complete your application for admission to The U, please supply the following materials:
1. Admission Application.

APPLY ONLINE!
    /admissions/images/Other/pdf.gif  Application Form*

2. Application Fee of $20. If you have previously attended a university in the South Dakota Board of Regents system and have already paid the fee, you do not need to pay the application fee again.

3. High School Transcript. If you are applying to a degree program, you must request an official transcript be sent to The U. If you are still attending high school, the transcript must include courses completed and courses in progress, or the high school counselor may use the "High School Courses in Progress" section of this application to certify courses in progress. You will be considered for admission after completion of your junior year. You must also arrange for a final official transcript to be sent after you graduate from high school.

4. Official Report of ACT/SAT Scores. If you are applying to a degree program and are under 21 years of age, you must complete the ACT/SAT and have the results sent to The U. If you are between the ages of 21 and 24 and have taken the ACT/SAT within the past five years, you must submit your results to The U; however, if you have not taken the ACT/SAT, you are not required to take it at this time. If ACT/SAT scores are listed on your high school transcript, it is not necessary to request the scores from the testing agency.
