This is a tutorial on how to use Pine for E-mail. This tutorial uses the MOUSE, but remember the actual commands in Pine must be entered from the keyboard. I would recommend going through each of main menu items step-by-step by clicking on the right arrow above. You will need to go through each section to make sure you complete all of the assignments.
The screen below is a fairly accurate representation of what Pine looks like.

? Help - Get help using Pine
C COMPOSE MESSAGE - Compose and send/post a message
I FOLDER INDEX - View messages in current folder
L FOLDER LIST - Select a folder OR news group to view
A ADDRESS BOOK - Update address book
S SETUP - Configure or update Pine
Q QUIT - Exit the Pine program
