Welcome to my website. Since most of what
is in the following pages is of a professional nature,
this paragraph will tell you something of my other
interests, avocations, and hobbies.  I love to travel.
I have been to all 50 states, most Canadian provinces,
Mexico, all of Central America, Colombia, a few of
the islands in the Caribbean, all of Western Europe, much of Asia,
Israel, Egypt, and Morocco. I travel to do research;
visit friends and relatives; pray at Orthodox synagogues;
serve as a volunteer in the Israeli Defense Forces; view art;
attend performances of theatre, opera, and ballet;
and ride roller coasters. I am also a serious bodybuilder.
I read a great deal mostly books on Jewish history
and Law, as well as on the arts. I look forward to
retiring as soon as possible, not because I don't like
my professional life, but rather to select where I wish
to live; a large home in Texas might be nice.

My goals for the future are to develop my mind,
soul, and body to their full potential; and integrate
the diverse aspects of my life.   I hope one day to
be able to speak conversational Hebrew with the
facility that I have in English and Spanish; to be able
to read with comprehension the Torah in the original
Hebrew; and to develop a deeper and broader knowledge
than I have now of literature, music, opera, and ballet.
In brief, I want to enjoy productively the rest of my life.
Now you may wish to read about my professional
accomplishments
