Healthcare Summer Careers Camp

 
The Healthcare Careers Summer Camp is for high school students interested in exploring health care professions. The program is open to students who will be juniors and seniors in high school in fall. Only 40 applications will be accepted this year. Face coverings are optional on USD's campus.

At camp, you will:

  • Meet health care professionals and other students interested in health care
  • Get hands-on experience and see medical demonstrations
  • Tour nearby medical facilities
  • Get a taste of college life by living on USD's campus
  • Interact with students, faculty, and professionals in various health care fields
  • Discover courses to help you prepare for future healthcare careers
  • Meet and develop friendships with other high school students from the region
  • Participate in recreational activities

Details

Dates: The 17th Annual Healthcare Careers Camp will be June 9-14, 2024.
Location: Lee Medical Building in Vermillion
Application Deadline: May 10, 2024

Cost

Tuition is $100 per student. A limited amount of financial aid is awarded on a need basis. Tuition includes meals, lodging and all educational and recreational activities.
