My current research interests fall into four broad categories. The first and primary category involves issues relating to professional ethics and ethical behaviors, with particular emphases in ethical issues facing rural providers and variables that facilitate or impede decisions to report ethical violations. My second area of research interest focuses on the integration of mental health services into interdisciplinary health care, particularly in rural environments. My third area of interest is in clinical administrative issues such as supervision and training, advocacy, clinical administration. Finally, I am also interested in multicultural issues in clinical training and practice, with a particular interest in defining and assessing cultural competence among psychology trainees, practitioners, and researchers.
