Prospective student athletes should complete the recruiting questionnaire for the sport they wish to play in college. All prospective student athlete campus visit requests are scheduled through the Department of Athletics or by contacting their recruiting coach in their respective sport.
Schedule an Individual Visit - Vermillion Campus
When you arrive on campus for your visit, please park in the designated parking lot. You may check-in for your visit in the Wagner Welcome Center lobby.
Coyote Visit Days are designed with flexibility in mind, giving you the chance to choose the sessions that matter most to you. Explore academic programs, student organizations and campus life through a variety of presentations and interactive experiences.
Each event runs from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., beginning with check-in on the second floor of the Muenster University Center (MUC). After an opening session, you'll have the opportunity to attend sessions of your choice, take a campus tour, enjoy lunch, and browse an information fair.

Sign Up for a Coyote Visit Day
When you arrive on campus for your visit, please park in the designated parking lot. A parking pass is not required for your visit. Next, make your way to the Muenster University Center (MUC) to check-in and begin your campus visit.
This event is a full-day experience that includes an admissions and scholarships overview, academic sessions, a majors fair and campus tour options. You'll also get a taste of Coyote gameday spirit by ending the day at the DakotaDome to cheer on the Coyotes football team!*
The event begins with check-in and the Academic Majors Fair at the MUC from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., followed by sessions and tours until 12:45 p.m. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. A complimentary continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
*A limited number of free student tickets to the football game are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional tickets may be purchased. More details will be shared ahead of the event.

If you want to visit campus on a weekend, then you're in luck with our Saturday Campus Visits! You can look forward to an admissions overview, academic department presentation and touring campus with our Student Ambassador Scholars.
Saturday Morning Visits are scheduled from 9:30-11:30 a.m. All visits are by appointment only and may have limited capacity.

IN-PERSON VISITS: Come check out Sioux Falls' only public university! You'll have the chance to chat with admissions, tour campus, and learn about our academic programs at USD - Sioux Falls. In-person visits typically last between 30-60 minutes and are available from 9am - 4pm. When you arrive on campus for your visit, you will check-in at the front desk of the Classroom Building (4801 N Career Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57107).
VIRTUAL MEETINGS: If you would like to chat with admissions but are unable to get out to campus for a visit, you have the option to meet virtually. Virtual appointments are 30 minutes long.

If you have already completed a bachelor’s degree and are interested in pursuing advanced education through the USD Graduate School, you can schedule a visit with USD Graduate Admissions. This office will arrange a highly personalized visit for you based on your academic interests. You’ll see campus, meet with a representative from your academic department and have a chance to ask questions about the application and enrollment process.

I decided to come to USD because of how much it felt like home when I visited it on a campus tour. The Al Neuharth Media Center caught my attention right away and I was blown away by all it had to offer. The staff has been encouraging and welcoming since my first day of college.
