Dr. Jess Schneider earned her Clinical Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2022.
Dr. Schneider teaches both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in language sciences, with a focus on spoken and written language development and disorders, including dyslexia. As an associate-level trained Orton-Gillingham practitioner, she provides individualized instruction using a structured literacy and language-based approach tailored to diverse learner needs.
My research interests center on written and spoken language disorders, with a particular emphasis on dyslexia and related language-based learning challenges. I am committed to advancing understanding of the cognitive and linguistic mechanisms underlying these disorders and exploring effective, evidence-based interventions that support language development and literacy across diverse populations.
