Jessie has over 17 years of higher education experience. She has focused on bridging the gap between research and practice in the psychological aspects of movement among practitioners, including coaches, PE teachers, and exercise leaders.
Jessie enjoys teaching many areas in the broader field of kinesiology and sport management, but she particularly enjoys teaching sport psychology and sport sociology.
Jessie is interested in studying youth experiences in sport, including sport as development approaches. Additionally, she is interested in the American Development Model and how it is being adopted and implemented in youth sport in the United States.
