I am an instructor in the Department of Communication Studies focused on providing creative and innovative instruction in a variety of communication courses. Working with students to ensure success in the classroom is one of my goals as an educator.

My teaching interests include fundamentals of speech, organizational communication, interpersonal communication, team building, and gender and communication.

My academic research interests include gender issues in communication, leadership styles in academic settings, and gender studies in cultural artifacts.
