Born and raised in the Midwest, Sarah obtained her B.A. and M.A. at USD, where she's now pleased to be part of the faculty.
Introductory literature and writing courses call for an examination of a broad range of genres, major periods, styles, and cultures, which Sarah seeks to address in her classes. As an online instructor, she pursues new methods for delivering course content, interacting with students, and engaging them in the course material.
Sarah has presented at conferences on several topics in Victorian poetry and novels; issues of gender, womanhood, and motherhood in contemporary culture and the nineteenth century; and many themes including god-concepts and the teaching of literary theory in science fiction and fantasy novels.
