Beacom Recognizes Sioux Falls Business Leader
The University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business honored Jack Hopkins, president and CEO of CorTrust Bank with the school’s Distinguished Service Award last evening. Hopkins was recognized for his leadership to the business school and for his commitment to the regional economy.
Hopkins, an accounting graduate from the University of South Dakota, spearheaded CorTrust Bank’s expansion in the Sioux Falls market. During his service, CorTrust has grown in assets from $110 million to $775 million.
"Jack Hopkins is a banking leader in our region and we are pleased to honor his many successes,” said Venky Venkatachalam, dean of the Beacom School of Business. “Our dedicated alumni, like Jack, are providing tremendous leadership to the state, to our business community, and are inspiring to future generations of business students.”
