Craftsmanship student exhibit on display at USDs Day Gallery
VERMILLION, S.D. -- The John A. Day Gallery at the University of South Dakota will display, “Craftsmanship," a graphic design exhibition by USD students Molly Buum of Alcester, S.D., Kelsie Jo Carter of Elk Point, S.D., Ryan Huber from Yankton, S.D., Erica Wergin of Stillwater, Okla., and Joey Vaughn of Sioux Falls, S.D. A reception for the artists is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11 at the Day Gallery.
Buum will pursue her design abilities in the publication industry while Carter is attending the University of North Dakota to pursue clinical and mental health counseling and art therapy. Huber will continue photographing bands across the country and Wergin is seeking a career in graphic design with illustration and fashion. Vaughn, too, will pursue a career in graphic design in illustration.
