As part of the of the Beacom School of Business Dean's Lecture Series, Health and Aging Policy Fellow Brian K. Hensel, MSPH, Ph.D., Office of U.S. Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV, will discuss points of difference in the current health care debate and share his experiences as a Health Policy Fellow in the legislative process. Students, faculty and guests will also learn firsthand the roles of policymaking and politics, the press, and academic research in this debate.

Hensel oversees legislation in long-term care, end-of-life care, and health information technology. He collaborated in interdisciplinary research with scholars in health communication, health informatics, medicine and social work. His presentation is free and open to the public.
