DWP teacher-consultants Jeannette Jennings and Anne Moege, who attended National Writing Project writing retreats in Arizona and Nebraska, will lead the retreat which is scheduled from 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Lincoln Bed & Breakfast in Stickney, S.D. (snow-date is March 13-15). Meals, lodging and a quiet place to write are included in the retreat registration fee of $360. Teachers interested in registering must submit their fee and a formal letter by Feb. 25 (postmark date). The formal letter will include answers to questions and personal information, which can be found at www.usd.edu/dwp/writingretreat.cfm.

Send the letter and registration fee (check or money order made out to the Dakota Writing Project) to: Dakota Writing Project, Dakota Hall 212, University of South Dakota, 414 E. Clark Street, Vermillion, SD 57069-2390. One hour of graduate credit is available for an additional $40. The retreat is limited to six participants.
