Mark Broders recognized as 2009 Outstanding Graduate Student by Beacom School of Business at The U
Broders, a 2004 graduate of Yankton High School, graduated in May 2009 with his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree as well as a Master of Professional Accountancy degree.
As a student in the Beacom School of Business, Broders was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the prestigious accounting honorary, as well as a member of the Accounting Club. He was the recipient of several scholarships at The U, including the Walter A. Buhler Scholarship, the John T. Vucurevich Scholarship and the South Dakota CPA Society Scholarship. As a senior, Broders was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International. Additionally, Broders was a tax intern for two years with RSM McGladrey in Sioux Falls, S.D. In November, he will transition into the position of tax associate at RSM McGladrey.
