Ridgway elected to state medical association leadership
At the association’s annual meeting this past weekend in Rapid City, Tim M. Ridgway, M.D., dean of clinical faculty at the medical school, was elected to serve as a councilor-at-large on the 10-member executive committee. The executive committee transacts the business of the association during intervals between council meetings. It functions in an advisory capacity to the association’s president.
Ridgway received his doctorate in medicine from Sanford School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota. In addition to his medical school responsibilities, Dr. Ridgway practices medicine at Sanford Clinic-Gastroenterology in Sioux Falls.
