Sanford Health Chief Data and Analytics Officer to Speak On Campus
Two new courses, predictive business analytics and prescriptive business analytics, will be available this fall to students in this field. Two analytics faculty members have been hired to strengthen the business school’s teaching and research in this growing field.
Hsu practices as a Sanford School of Medicine pediatrician and leads Sanford's data-driven initiatives to improve health outcomes. He develops and implements the strategic vision of data and analytics at Sanford Health.
His presentation at 3 p.m. Friday, April 1 in Beacom 208 will give students a look into the growing field of business analytics and an opportunity to learn the importance of data analytics specifically to the Sanford Health mission.
