South Dakota Shakespeare Festival to Host The Bards Birthday Bash
“The Bard’s Birthday Bash,” held the week of Shakespeare’s 457th birthday, will feature a tea party with small bites, live entertainment and a silent auction. Festive attire requested.
Tickets are $35 for adults, $10 for children and $65 for a family/couple. Masks and social distancing are expected. University St. in Vermillion, South Dakota.
SDSF will present “Twelfth Night, or What You Will,” in Vermillion’s Prentis Park, along with additional educational programming and outreach events, June 17-20, 2021.

Since 2012, the SDSF has been producing free, world-class Shakespeare in the Park in Vermillion, South Dakota, accompanied by a wide array of education and engagement programming, through partnerships with local and regional schools and organizations. The SDSF values diversity and inclusion in its work, and it seeks to create theatre and build audiences that reflect and nourish the diversity of its communities. Since its inception, and in keeping with our mission, all festival events are free and open to the public.
