Tallent will share his experience as the CEO of iPad and smartphone developer Mercury Intermedia in a keynote address entitled, “Deciphering Disruption - Skating to Where the Puck Will Be.” Mercury Intermedia builds iOS, Android and WP7 mobile apps for newspapers such as USA Today, The New York Times, Boston Globe and Atlanta Journal Constitution, as well as television stations, including CNN, Fox News and Univision. Its apps have been downloaded more than 20 million times around the globe.

In his keynote address, Tallent will discuss how media executives face unique challenges as they deal with constant changes in business models to meet consumer needs. In addition, he will offer practical advice applicable to all industries, with tips on building highly effective mobile apps, how to know what consumers are seeking, the diminishing role of printing presses, and how to creative flexible and adaptable business models.
