NSAC and Snapple sent out a call for students across the United States to help increase Snapple’s market share. Sixteen students from different USD departments are preparing an integrated marketing campaign for the brand and will present it to employees of Snapple and national brand members from different agencies across the country.

They will compete April 8-9 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, in District 8, which consists of schools from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Minnesota. If USD wins the regional competition, the team will advance to nationals June 4-7 in Anaheim, California. The students aim for USD to be the first school in their district to win the national competition.

“I’ve heard our professors talk about getting back involved in this nationally recognized competition since my freshman year, and now it’s finally happening. I couldn’t be more ecstatic,” said Arianne Wunder, a senior from Howard, South Dakota.

Other team members: Kayla Dorhout, Aliya Elshami, Carly Holstrom and Kailee Olson, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Taylor Fauth, Aberdeen, South Dakota; Hailey Jeratowski, Jefferson, South Dakota; Shelby Huber, Menno, South Dakota; Joshua Haiar, Mitchell, South Dakota; Elyse Murray, Lafayette, Colorado; Christopher Timmerman, Johnston, Iowa; Jacob Runia, Sibley, Iowa; Nicholas Urban, Struble, Iowa; McKenzie Holton, Owatonna, Minnesota; Jenna Kruntorad, Omaha, Nebraska; and Brandon Noel, Norfolk, Nebraska.
