University statement on Tax Return Fraud investigation
VERMILLION, S.D. -- In response to an announcement made earlier today by the Vermillion Police Department regarding the department’s tax return fraud investigation, USD President James W. Abbott issued the following statement on behalf of the University of South Dakota:
“It disappoints me to think any of our students could be involved. We will assist the investigation in any way we can. If necessary, our students will be held accountable by not only the judicial system but the University as well.”
