USD Center for Disabilities Hosts South Dakota Special Education Conference
“The SPED Conference is an excellent learning and resource opportunity for Special Education teachers. Our keynote speaker, Tim Clue, has an educator background and offers both a comedic and motivation message for educators. We are excited to offer a free evening session for the public with Tim Clue from 6:30-8:00 to be entertained and learn how a challenged learner went on to be a teacher and then on to inspire the nation,” said Linda Turner, director of the South Dakota Department of Education, Special Education Program.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by motivational speaker and comedian Tim Clue. The event includes breakout sessions structured for special education teachers, lectures and the Special Education Staff of the Year honorary luncheon. With a yearly attendance of over 250 people, The SD SPED Conference is a one-stop shop for special education and disability information.
