USD Connects Education Students with Schools
VERMILLION, S.D. — Twenty school districts plan to attend the USD Teacher Candidate Networking Event on Friday, Dec. 4, on the University of South Dakota campus.
The goal is to connect schools looking to fill the need for qualified teachers with students looking for a job or student teaching opportunity, said Sherrie Bosse, senior lecturer in USD’s School of Education. USD teacher candidates who are currently student teaching may attend from 1-2 p.m. and USD juniors looking for student teaching opportunities are invited to stop by 2-3 p.m. The event will be held in the Muenster University Center Ballroom.
