USD Law Graduate Named Circuit Judge in Montana
Olivia Rieger, a 2014 University of South Dakota School of Law graduate, has been appointed to serve as a judge in the 7th Judicial District Court in Montana.
Rieger was the Dawson County Attorney, elected twice in 2010 and 2014. She previously served as a public defender and was named Public Defender of the Year in 2009.
Rieger is a graduate of Belle Fourche High School in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.
The post will be up for election in November 2018.
