USD Mens Basketball to Play at Iowa
The Coyotes are the third Summit League team in the last three years to compete in the NIT. Before 2015, Oral Roberts' appearances in 2005 and 2012 and Valparaiso's trip in 2003 were the conference's only appearances since 1992.
South Dakota received an automatic bid to the NIT after winning the Summit League's regular season championship.
