USD Music Majors Win State Awards
Hannah Lambertz, a senior from Yankton, South Dakota, majoring in vocal performance, won second place in the SDMTA Junior/Senior Collegiate Voice Competition. Her teacher at USD is Tracelyn Gesteland.
Rymma Maslova, a senior from Kiev, Ukraine, majoring in piano performance, took second place in the SDMTA Collegiate Piano Competition. Her teacher at USD is Susan Keith Gray.
Maslova will perform her senior piano recital at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7, in the Colton Recital Hall of the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts. It’s free and open to the public.
