USD Sanford Medical Schools Dr Lindemann to chair national accrediting committee
Lindemann will serve as Chair-elect during the 2015-2016 academic year and as Chair during the 2016-2017 academic year. A Wisconsin native, she received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has been dean of Medical Student Education at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine since 2001.
According to Dr. Mary Nettleman, dean of the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, “We are proud that Dr. Lindemann has been named to this very important and prestigious position. Leadership of the national accrediting agency for medical schools could not be in better hands. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Lindemann as part of the team that leads and serves our medical school. Her wisdom is highly valued and it benefits our staff, faculty and students.”
