“The School of Education continues to lead the region with quality online education programs for those seeking an advanced degree in education in sports management and exercise science online,” said Donald Easton-Brooks, dean of the School of Education. “This recognition is a contribution to our faculty and staff, who look to promote quality in and outside of the classroom.”

The U.S. News & World Report uses a variety of data points to determine their online program ranking database including student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, peer reputation, and admissions selectivity. A program's score for each ranking indicator is calculated using data that the program reported to U.S. News in a statistical survey and a peer reputation survey.

The USD School of Education is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year educating many of the state’s high quality teaching professionals.
