USD to host 49th annual Student History Conference is April 24
VERMILLION, S.D. -- Graduate and undergraduate students from several regional universities and colleges will present papers at the University of South Dakota’s 49th annual Student History Conference on Thursday 24 April. Professor Michael Hoff, Hixon-Lied Professor of Art History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will deliver the plenary address at 11:30 a.m., “Pirates and Romans: Ancient Cities and Rough Cilicia.”
Sponsored by the USD Department of History and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in history, the conference begins at 9:30 a.m. and will run to 5 p.m. at the Muenster University Center.
