The University of South Dakota Center for Digital Accessibility is a statewide and regional leader in advancing approaches to digital accessibility practices, planning and compliance.
Established in 2025, the center provides comprehensive digital accessibility support services to state and public educational institutions — including website audits, human usability testing, software accessibility and VPAT reviews, remediation, training, consulting, planning services and procurement support. The center uses WCAG-aligned evaluation and remediation practices to support accessible, ADA, Section 504 and Section 508 compliant digital experiences. Through its efforts supporting Title II organizations across South Dakota, the Center for Digital Accessibility helps higher education, K-12 education, state organizations and local government organizations ensure their digital services are usable by all people.
