128 Accounting Students Attend Beacom School of Business' South Dakota CPA Showcase Event
A total of 128 primary accounting students attended the event. Attendees were able to meet CPAs and recent graduates in various areas of employment, learn more about the CPA profession and network with business representatives. Students also learned what the accounting field has to offer through an open panel with the businesses.
The showcase was set up in a question-and-answer format, allowing students to ask anything they were interested in knowing about the various industries and careers with the goal of helping students determine whether a career in the accounting field would be a good fit for them.
