Celebration of Excellence Event Set for September 27 to Honor Hall of Fame Recipients
A reception will follow in the John A. Day Gallery immediately following the Celebration of Excellence event.
The Celebration of Excellence is hosted in honor of the Class of 2024 Hall of Fame recipients. This year’s recipients include five individuals who have impacted the college in great ways. Recipients include the following.
- Debra Christofferson ’76
- Carla Connors ’79
- Dale Hale ’57
- Shirley Neugebauer Luebke ’71, ’76
- John A. Day (posthumous)

Hall of Fame recipients will receive a custom award. They will also be recognized by brass nameplates on the sculpture honor wall that was constructed in 2021, located on the wall east of the John A. Day Gallery in the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts.

Attendees are invited to attend the Department of Theatre’s production of “The Wolves” by Sarah DeLappe at 7:30 p.m. Special exhibitions will be on display in both the John A. Day Gallery and Gallery 110.
