Finalists Announced for USD School of Health Sciences Dean Search
The search was chaired by Knudson School of Law Dean Neil Fulton, J.D., and included School of Health Sciences students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders. The committee sought candidates well positioned to lead the School of Health Sciences as it develops practitioners, leaders and scholars and strives to improve the future of health care for the region and beyond.
Finalists include Betsy J. Becker, PT, DPT, Ph.D.; Robin Edward Gearing, LCSW, Ph.D.; and Kory J. Zimney, PT, DPT, Ph.D.
“USD has an exceptional group of candidates to consider for the School of Health Sciences dean position,” said USD President Sheila K. Gestring. “We are excited to welcome new leadership and see the school continue to thrive as it prepares practice-ready professionals and leaders to serve our communities.”
On-campus interviews will take place in mid-February. The finalists’ CVs are available on the USD website.
