USD’s RN to BSN Courses Delivered in Eight-Week Rotations, Students Finish in 16 Months
Working registered nurses (RN) can earn an RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in just 16 months with the University of South Dakota School of Health Sciences’ new eight-week course rotation.
Students can start the RN to BSN program in the fall semester and attend four subsequent semesters, including summer, to complete the degree. If all other required general education courses are complete, it will take 16 months for an RN to complete the BSN degree, all online.
“USD Nursing’s RN-BSN program offers an affordable and flexible way to earn a BSN,” explained Anne Kleinhesselink, Ph.D., RN, associate chair of nursing academic programs. “Taking one eight-week course at a time provides working RNs the convenience they need to complete a degree that fits into their busy work and life.”
Tuition reimbursement is available for enrolled students in the RN to BSN program.
