My interests are related to environmental determinants of health for maternal and child populations. This stems from my early interest in the biological world and ecology, was fostered through courses I took in zoology and botany, as well as one of the first research studies I worked on, and the time I spent at a naturalist. These experiences have impacted my understanding of the importance of the environment to public health. I am a sustainability program affiliated faculty member.
