Police Chief Bryant Jackson Receives National, International Appointments

Members of the Clery Center's National Advisory Council are campus-based professionals actively serving in various critical roles at institutions and representing a multidisciplinary approach to campus safety.
“I am honored to be appointed to this council. This role provides an incredible opportunity to advocate for advancements in campus safety and support the Clery Center’s vital mission of creating safer learning environments,” said Jackson.
Jackson will serve a two-year term and will bring his expertise and experiences to help the Clery Center identify opportunities and challenges to enhance safety on college campuses.
“I look forward to collaborating with fellow professionals to provide guidance, share best practices and help shape policies that enhance safety and compliance efforts nationwide. Together, we can continue making meaningful strides in protecting our campus communities,” said Jackson.
Jackson was also recently elected to the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) Board of Directors after serving a one-year term.
“I am honored to be elected to a three-year term with the IACLEA. This opportunity allows me to continue advocating for campus safety and security internationally,” said Jackson.
IACLEA is the largest professional association devoted to excellence in campus public safety and law enforcement. Team members include law enforcement and security professionals at higher education institutions, who are responsible for protecting millions of students worldwide.
“Campus public safety is a critical mission, and I look forward to collaborating with colleagues worldwide to enhance best practices, professional development, and innovation in our field. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and excited to serve our communities through IACLEA,” said Jackson.
