The DSRS team will also offer the same workshops in February. The workshops include the following.
- "Introduction to Data Visualization and Analysis with R"
- "Introduction to Data Visualization and Analysis with Python"
- "Data Viz with Power BI"
Participants must complete all three workshops and pass a short assessment at the end of each workshop to receive the badge.
In addition to workshops, the DSRS team has also expanded their Virtual Reality Lab with five headsets, two gaming computers and a large screen. Three of the headsets are equipped with a paid subscription to MedicalHolodeck, a virtual reality human anatomy app. This app offers a variety of interactive lessons on various body systems and parts, including the head, brain, lungs, spine, liver, arm and heart. Practice with dissection is also available with the Dissection Master XR, which allows users to view the human body in ten his-resolution layers.
The Virtual Reality Lab is located in Room 231 of the I.D. Weeks Library.
