USD’s Office of Accessibility is dedicated to creating an inclusive campus where all students, faculty, and staff can thrive.
To ensure individuals with disabilities have full access to university programs and services, our office provides support for:
- Academic accommodations
- Visitor accommodations
- Assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Digital accessibility
Our commitment to accessibility aligns with the university’s values of equal access and opportunity for all as we recognize disability as a vital part of human experience. We work diligently to comply with federal disability rights laws, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the ADAAA of 2009.
We strive to create a universally accessible campus in our digital and physical spaces on campus. Students or visitors with a disability can connect with our office to initiate an accommodation request or request assistance with digital accessibility.
We are in North Complex Commons room 116, located north of Cherry Street and between Mickelson and Beede and Olson and Richardson residence hall
