The University of South Dakota offers a variety of summer programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic and extracurricular camps. Participants have the opportunity to expand their education and skills while making new friends and experiencing life at USD. Some camps offer college credit for high school students interested in accelerating their coursework toward a college degree.

Athletic Camps
USD Athletic camps welcome boys and girls ages 11 – 18. All camps are held at the DakotaDome, South Dakota's premier sports facility. USD's summer athletic camps offer a variety of programs to choose from. The schedule includes basketball, football, swimming and volleyball.

Join Us for Theatre605 Camps
Theatre 605 Jr. Camps began in 2015 and have been creating unforgettable meories for hundereds of campers ever since. This is a place where young people discover their voices, gain confidence, and form lasting friendships through the magical world of theatre.
Jr. Camps are held each summer for a two-week-long experience for grades 5-12 at the USD campus in Vermillion. Registration for camp opens in the winter.
