The University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business is proud to announce the launch of its Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) program. The new program is specifically designed to prepare top business leaders for Sioux Falls’ rising status as a business hub in the Midwest. It will provide senior executives and C-suite leaders with advanced skills and strategies needed to excel in today’s ever-evolving workforce. 

“With its rapid economic growth and increasing prominence as a center for business innovation, Sioux Falls is uniquely positioned to lead the region into a new era of commerce,” said USD President Sheila K. Gestring. “Our eMBA program was strategically developed to support these top businesses and provide their leaders with tools to thrive in this dynamic business landscape, ultimately positioning them to be the driving force behind successful and sustainable businesses far into the future.”

Developed in partnership with leading Sioux Falls businesses, the eMBA offers an educational experience that blends next-generation academic theory with practical application. Participants will engage in specialized coursework that covers artificial intelligence, business analytics, strategic leadership and operations management.

The inaugural cohort is set to launch this fall and is already generating strong interest among some of the region’s most prominent leaders.

Delivered in a flexible hybrid format, the eMBA ensures that senior professionals can balance the program with their demanding schedules. The cohort model is designed to foster collaboration, peer-to-peer learning and real-time application of key insights directly to the participants’ organizations. Admission to the program is highly selective, requiring employer endorsement and support.

USD Expands MBA Program to Sioux Falls 
In addition to the eMBA launch, USD is expanding its Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to the USD – Sioux Falls campus. Designed for professionals in any stage of their career, this hybrid program provides students the opportunity to advance their business degree while staying in the Sioux Falls area. 

With evening in-person classes combined with online coursework, this program is tailored to the needs of today’s working professionals. Its rigorous curriculum focuses on areas such as accounting, finance, leadership and business strategy, ultimately positioning graduates with the tools to lead dynamic and successful careers.
