Promoting and Supporting Research at USD
Research and creative activities constitute one of the most valued contributions from the faculty and students of the University of South Dakota. They are the foundation of a rigorous graduate education, a distinguishing factor in the undergraduate liberal arts experience and a tangible illustration of our faculty's contributions to the world.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is committed to cultivating and supporting the unending curiosity of our research community at USD. Our office has overall responsibility for the university's research function, assisting faculty and researchers, establishing and administering policies governing the conduct of research and overseeing the management of research programs. We assist investigators seeking external funding, partner with government and commercial partners to grow USD's research enterprise and assist in bringing the benefits of research discoveries to the public and private sectors.
