University of South Dakotas Online Graduate Business Programs Continue to Gain National Recognition
“It is gratifying to see our graduate programs recognized among an elite group of schools across the nation,” said Venky Venkatachalam, Ph.D., dean of the Beacom School of Business. “Our dedication to providing high-caliber programs is shown through our improved rank by U.S. News as well as five years on The Princeton Review’s top Online MBAs list.”
USD’s MBA program was ranked 69th out of 321 online MBA programs, rising four placements since 2019. In addition, the program was ranked #42 in Best Online Programs for Veterans for the program’s affordability, accessibility and reputation.
In the ranking for online graduate business programs (excluding MBA), the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) was ranked 55th out of 174 – an improvement over last year’s ranking. For the 2020 report, U.S. News ranked both online MBA and non-MBA programs based on five categories: engagement, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, student services and technologies.
“Beacom’s online MBA is designed to accommodate the schedules and demands of busy working professionals. Our students’ success is our top priority, and these rankings reinforce that notion,” said Jewel Shepherd, Ph.D., faculty coordinator for the online MBA program.
The online MBA and MPA programs at the USD Beacom School of Business are specially tailored to be delivered in an engaging, online format by the same high-caliber faculty who teach the on-campus programs. Students enjoy the high-quality, rigorous program one can expect from an AACSB accredited business school while also benefiting from a flexible and affordable program.
