At USD Esports, we run all things gaming. Our state-of-the-art Esports Arena is in the McKusick Tech Center on the southeast corner of campus, where you’ll have access to 24 PC gaming stations, two console lounges equipped with 65” TV’s, 2 Nintendo Switch Consoles, an Xbox Series X, and a PS5. Bring your roommates or your friends to compete online, in person, or in one of our events co-sponsored by USD Intramurals.
Casual gaming not intense enough for you? Join the USD Esports Club, and rep the Yotes against other universities in the region and across the nation!
The USD Esports Club is a member of the Collegiate Star League, NACE, and the Collegiate Champions League Midwest, competing in game titles like League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Madden, CS:GO, Overwatch 2, Apex: Legends, Rainbow 6: Siege and Call of Duty. Offering 12 student scholarships, the club practices and competes weekly in multiple seasons across multiple conferences.
The club also hosts many recreational events like weekly Super Smash Ultimate Tournaments, monthly events, and participates in Extra Life, a 24 hour livestream fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network, which contributes all proceeds to the Sanford Children’s Castle in Sioux Falls.
Gaming not your thing? The club is on the lookout for members of our production team, who plan, broadcast, stream and shoutcast all club competitions. Come get real life experience in media productions by supporting the club!
