Fraternity Chapters & Recruitment

Make lifelong friends and memories in a fraternity.

At USD, joining a fraternity is about more than just becoming part of an organization—it’s about finding a community that will shape your college experience and beyond. Fraternities provide a supportive network of peers who share your values, passions, and ambitions, while offering countless opportunities to build lifelong friendships. From move-in day through graduation, fraternity life helps students navigate some of the most transformative years of their lives, creating bonds that last long after college.

The rushing process is your first step in discovering that community. During rush week, you’ll meet new people, explore different chapters, and see firsthand what fraternity life has to offer. Beyond the fun of socials, mixers, and formals, fraternities are also rooted in service, leadership, and personal growth. Whether it’s giving back through philanthropy, stepping into leadership roles, or simply finding friends who will support you through every high and low, rushing gives you the chance to make the most of your USD experience.

Student success story Hunter Post smiling in a red USD polo.
Fraternity life at USD has had a huge impact on my college experience, both socially and professionally. On the social side, it’s provided a great community where I’ve met people from all over, formed lasting friendships, and been part of events that bring students together across campus.
